Presentation of a Unity Basic, Lessons in Truth facilitated by Ella Schulz Tuesday, January 10 for 5 weeks 7-9 p.m. and then repeated Thursday, March 15 for 5 weeks 1-3 pm. Lessons in Truth will be presented in January,
February and March of 2012. Lessons in Truth by H. Emilie Cady is a basic
Truth book that Unity has used for many years. Lessons in Truth is
a clear, concise representation of New Thought philosophy and metaphysical
Christianity. The spiritual concepts presented in these twelve lessons
show us how to increase our personal empowerment and enhance our spiritual
growth. Dr. Cady teaches that our lives can be transformed by the power of
our thoughts, words, and beliefs. She encourages us to find our truth as
it is written in our own hearts and then apply these truths in every area

Church Dr. Joe Darrow is a recently widowed doctor. He is grieving due to the death of his pregnant wife in a Red Cross mission in Venezuela. Although being atheist, he began to believe that his dead wife wants to communicate with him, through her young patients in the Pediatrics of a Chicago hospital. He is slowly learning how to cope with her death...until dead and dying patients start to speak to him in his wife's voice. With each new message he becomes more convinced she's trying to contact him, to tell him something important. But what? In doing Internet research for this workshop, I came across a website which listed “Twenty One Wise Sayings”, and one in particular stood out as a ‘Wow’ for me. It was Number 14 and it read “Too many people offer God prayers with claw marks all over them.” Are you one of these people? Has this ever been your experience? Can you relate to this at all? If you need reminders that God is your help in every need, and that our soul never forgets that we are always one with Spirit, you are cordially invited to join us in an interactive workshop as together we explore the role of faith and trust in the ongoing process of release, surrender, and ultimate acceptance.
