In UNITY, we have no dogma. Yet, we generally share certain basic beliefs. We believe in God, the one and only omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Spirit-mind.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Master teacher, the Wayshower, and that we, his disciples, are to follow in his footsteps and do the things that he did.
We believe in the Christ Spirit within each person and that we have the potential to express Christ Consciousness.
We believe that Jesus is the awakened "Son of God" and that we are "awakening" sons & daughters of the most High.
We believe that "God is spirit", and that His Spirit is with us at all times, supplying every need.
We believe that divine intelligence is present in every atom of matter.
We believe that the original authority and dominion given to use was over our own thoughts, emotions, feelings, and passions, and that, in the lawful exercise of this authority, we will harmonize all discords within and without and restore the kingdom of God on the earth.
We believe in the creative power of thoughts and words.
We believe that we live, move and have our being in God-Mind.
We believe that the kingdom of heaven or harmony is within us and that through us the law and order existing in Divine Mind are to be established on the earth.
Finally, we believe in Healing, Prosperity, Divine Guidance, the power of Prayer and the power of God within us, capable of overcoming any obstacle that may stand in our path.
In UNITY, we hold strongly to the freedom of each individual to find his or her own path into LIGHT. But, if the path we travel sounds similar to the path your own soul has been demanding of you, we all would benefit from sharing our spiritual journey together.
