Roy Ayers and his wife, Julie Montague, have three adult children and three grandchildren. Both Roy and Julie are ordained Unity ministers. Julie Montague is the minister of Unity of the Valley in White Rock, British Columbia. 

Roy Ayers has served in Unity ministries in  Michigan, and as a student in Missouri. Roy worked for 25 years in Real Estate Franchise Marketing and Property Management prior to entering the ministry in 1990. Roy completed studies at Unity School of Religious Studies in 1994. His favorite hobbies are playing golf, horseback riding, ice hockey, music, and travel. His two passions are teaching, and music, Roy sings 2nd tenor in the Skagit Valley Chorale. Each week he faciltates  A Course in Miracles at the Unity Church of Today.
