pastel on hand-made paper 40" x 32" 1994 private collection This pastel is painted on the thickest, ost beautiful piece of hand-made paper I have ever had the proivilege of working on. It is embedded with flecks of metallic fiber. I chose to paint on the screen side of the sheet. By this time, I had been using buttery soft hand-made pastels as well. These wonderful colors lay beautifully on the texture of this sheet.
